Carnival of the Animals

Saint-Saens’ whimsical suite features everything from the Lions’ prowling orchestral themes to Kangaroo piano pounces and the Aviary’s fluttering flute runs. A string quartet make asses of themselves as Donkeys, whilst xylophone and flutes evoke Fossils.
